Society of Egyptian Architects

 

 

 

 

The Society of Egyptian Architects (SEA) has been established in Cairo on December 23, 1917.

 

It is a founder member of the International Union of Architects (UIA), which has been established in Paris on July 1948.

 

The statutes of SEA has been re-declared according to the law number 384 of 1956. Then, it has been re-declared according to the law number 32 of 1964, with a registration number 482 of 1967. After that, it has been re-declared according to the law 153 of 1999, with the same registration number  (482 of year 2000).

  

International and Regional activity of SEA:

Cooperate and participate with international and/or regional organizations to implement international and regional projects and researches in architecture, urban planning and engineering fields. As well as to organize conferences and workshops in order to develop the profession of architects and urban planners, through dissemination of technical experience, and to preserve the physical environments of human settlements.
